The Story of Z&Q Bioscience: Founded on a Shared Belief in Peptide Quality

Back in 2017, at the American Peptide Symposium in Boston, two researchers crossed paths — Dr. Lin from a leading Chinese peptide synthesis lab, and Dr. Sato, a process control veteran with 18 years of experience at a Japanese pharmaceutical firm.

Both had spent over a decade in the peptide industry, and both were frustrated by the same problem: the market was flooded with suppliers competing on price alone, cutting corners on purity, skipping full quality documentation, and leaving researchers and clinics with inconsistent, unreliable raw materials.

“Peptide science is precise work. A small difference in purity or sequence can change an entire experiment or treatment outcome,” Dr. Lin noted at the time. “Researchers deserve a partner they can trust, not just a vendor chasing low prices.”

One year later, Z&Q Bioscience was founded in Shenzhen, China, built on that simple shared belief: that high-quality peptide research materials should be accessible, traceable, and fairly priced.
